WHAT CAN YOU DO?
EDUCATION: We need to educate everyone about periods. By addressing the stigma associated with periods, we can create a more supportive environment. Set up a club at your local school, create fundraisers to talk about period poverty, set up packing parties.
ADVOCACY: Period products are necessities. We need to advocate to eliminate taxes on menstrual products and make these products ready available in schools. Reach out to your local congressman. Research which states have not removed the tampon tax.
ENGAGEMENT: We need to hear from our future leaders - Youth. Find out what their biggest concerns are. Engage with other members in your community to make an impact.
